Melt Belly Fat - Eliminate Belly Fat Permanently

Is It Possible To Melt Belly Fat?
Well the short answer to that question is yes, you can melt away belly fat - but unfortunately not by magic!
Nor can you get rid of tens of pounds of excess fat in a short period of time, at least not without seriously damaging your health in the long term. Any fad diet or miracle pill which tells you that it can do this for you is to be avoided like the plague. What you want to ensure is that you do not do anything which messes around with your body's natural functions; you need to work with your body, never against it if you want to see lasting results.
There is only one realistic way to eliminate belly fat from your life and that way has three simple elements to it - they may be simple but you will only be successful with all three.
- The right diet
- The right exercise
- Time
So no major surprises there... its hardly rocket science but the hard part is actually doing it.
The Right Diet
Yes, If You Want To Melt Belly Fat You Need To Modify Your Diet!
If you mention the word 'diet' to some people they practically run away screaming
A lot of people interpret the word diet as meaning 'eat nothing but lettuce and feel hungry all of the time. Avoid cakes'
That is quite definitely NOT what the right diet is. Starving yourself does not make you lose weight long term. It does not help you to melt belly fat. Okay you will lose weight at first but after that one of two things will happen
either
a) you will start eating normally again and you will put on more weight than you lost
or
b) you will become ill
The right diet means eating the sort of food which will nourish your body properly and allow it to function as it should. It means eating foods from ALL of the five main food groups. Your body needs the five groups so that it get s all of the nutrients it needs. If you don't get these nutrients your body will start to give your cravings in a desperate attempt to get what it needs. The result is that you end up over eating.
The right diet also means cutting out the junk food. It has no place in a good diet. Junk food do not contain those nutrients that your body needs so your body respond by triggering your hunger mechanism earlier than it should - again in an attempt yo get the nutrients it knows it needs. The body is very clever - don't try to fool it!
If you stick to a good diet you will find that you don't get so hungry. Your body gets what it needs and so it tells your brain that you are full. Good bye hunger pangs. A good diet also means enjoying your food. After all food is one of life's great pleasures and it is perfectly possible to really enjoy your food and stay lean and healthy at the same time. In fact the two should go hand in hand.
This is how you melt belly fat - fairly simple really and NO starvation tactics.
The Right Exercise
I firmly believe that the key so losing weight, or rather fat, successfully lies in getting enough exercise. If you don't exercise then it is very hard to lose a significant amount of weight.
Exercise not only burns calories whilst you are doing it but speeds up your 'resting' metabolism as well. Your body becomes more effective at burning calories generally. So the benefits are two-fold.
Losing fat will make you thinner but exercise will strengthen and tone up your muscles which means that your shape will improve. You will not get the same effect with diet alone.
One of the greatest benefits of regular exercise is not how it makes you look but how it makes you feel. There is no doubt that if you do exercise which breaks a swetat and gets your heart rate up three or four times a week you will start to feel so much better both physically and mentally. Exercise is a great stress reducer and helps to to be more mentally alert.
And not to be underestimated - that lovely smug feeling you can get from knowing that you are exercising whilst others are playing couch potato.
Time
The third element - an one which must not be underestimated.
No matter what anyone may tell you you cannot lose pounds and re-shape your body overnight. Crash diets are downright dangerous. Diet pills are a waste of time and money.
Think about how long it took you to pit the weight on and accept that it will take at least as long to get it off again. But look at it this way - even losing a little bit of it will make you look and feel better and that can be achieved quite quickly. It then gives you greater motivation to continue. Take it a step at a time and enjoy each small step forward.
Progress may seem slow at first but once your metabolism starts to speed up and your muscles gain density you will see faster change.
